marc has a background in life sciences and machine learning, with a masters in biochemistry from eth zürich and a phd in applied machine learning from the university of oxford. during his time in oxford, marc co-founded the oxford venture capital network, deepening the connection between the growing startup ecosystem at oxford and the wider uk venture capital industry, later transitioning into vc by joining london-based pre-seed investor creator fund as one of the first investment partners. there, he led many of the fund's investments into deeptech, ai and life science startups across the uk and europe.
