originally from switzerland and based in silicon valley since the early 2000s, daniel has a deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit. he founded kyte, a pioneering digital media platform, guiding it to its acquisition in 2011. beyond his operational roles, daniel is an adept angel investor, having invested in over 60 startups and 20 venture capital funds globally. daniel holds an m.s. in computer and systems engineering from rensselaer polytechnic institute (rpi) in new york and a b.s. in electrical engineering from interstate college of engineering (ntb) in switzerland.

prior to joining redalpine as a gp, he served as the chief product and technology officer at dispatchhealth and as vp of product & management team member at uber, where he led and scaled a team of 1,000+ people to ultimately transform the transportation industry. daniel also drove the development of google maps and local search, two of the most successful consumer products in history, during his time at google.
