Flexion Robotics raises $50M Series A to accelerate autonomy in humanoid robotics

We’re delighted to invest in Flexion Robotic's (RAC VII) $50M Series A round as they build the intelligence layer for next-generation humanoid and industrial robots. DST Global, nVentures (NVIDIA’s venture arm), Prosus Ventures, and Moonfire. We first backed Flexion earlier this year in their seed round and we're proud to continue supporting the team in this growth stage.

Humanoid robotics is moving fast, yet the core challenge remains the same: robots still need adaptive intelligence to operate reliably in real-world environments. Flexion is addressing exactly that. Its platform brings reinforcement learning, simulation, and sim-to-real training to a level that enables robots to generalize across tasks, environments, and form factors to unlock scalable autonomy.

We see robotics reaching an inflection point as software, simulation, and AI converge with hardware. Flexion is uniquely positioned to define the intelligence layer powering this transformation. Congratulations to the entire Flexion team! Read more in Crunchbase.

Forgis raises $4.5M pre-seed to build the AI-native orchestration layer for European manufacturing

We led Forgis's (RAC VII) $4.5M pre-seed round to develop a game changing AI-native orchestration platform for industrial automation. Our conviction in Forgis builds on years of research to develop our investment thesis: Europe won’t compete on low-cost manufacturing, but it can lead on precision, reliability, and the ability to automate complex, heterogeneous factory environments. Forgis enables exactly that. Its platform allows robots, sensors, and PLC systems to communicate and coordinate seamlessly, reducing integration time, minimizing errors, and unlocking scalable automation for multi-vendor industrial setups.

We believe the Forgis team brings the deep technical expertise and urgency required to redefine how factories operate and to strengthen Western industrial competitiveness. We’re proud to back them at this early stage and partner with them on the journey ahead. Read more in Gründerszene

voize closes $50M Series A to bring AI-powered documentation to frontline care

voize (RAC VI), the AI assistant that reduces the administrative burden for nurses, has raised a $50M Series A led by Balderton Capital, and we participated alongside HV Capital and Y Combinator.

Nurses are the backbone of healthcare, yet up to 30% of their time is spent on documentation instead of patient care. voize is changing this. Its AI companion listens, understands, and completes clinical documentation in real time, freeing up hours each shift and reducing burnout across care teams. Already trusted by more than 75,000 nurses in over 1,100 care facilities, voize proves that AI can enhance the healthcare system by giving caregivers more time for what matters most: people.

We first backed voize at a pre-seed stage and are proud to continue supporting the team as they scale across Europe and the US. Read more in Axios.

Albatross AI secures $12.5M seed round to power real-time content discovery

Albatross AI (RAC VII), the first AI infrastructure built for real-time content discovery, raised a $12.5M seed round led by MMC Ventures. After leading their pre-seed round last year, we're delighted to double down on our support alongside Daphni.

Discovery systems across eCommerce, media, and marketplaces still rely on backward-looking signals like popularity and similarity. Albatross changes this with real-time models that learn and adapt instantly to user behavior. Their technology already processes billions of events each month and dives triple-digit gains in engagement and product discovery.

Congratulations to the whole team! Read more in Forbes.

redalpine + world.minds

We’re delighted to deepen our relationship with WORLD.MINDS through a new strategic knowledge partnership. WORLD.MINDS' invitation-only community of 1,700 leading figures is recognized for convening world-leading scientists, Nobel laureates, thinkers, senior political figures, investors, and entrepreneurs, science. With strong Swiss roots and a mission that closely aligns with our own focus on science, software and entrepreneurship, the collaboration is a natural fit. As early supporters who have worked closely with the WORLD.MINDS team and founder Rolf Dobelli from the outset, we see huge potential in strengthening the exchange between their bright minds and our portfolio and LP network.

portugal offsite 2025

This November, the entire redalpine team came together on the Algarve for our annual offsite, where we focused on learning, strategy, and building out the next chapter of our investment platform.

Over five days, our team of 40+ aligned on fundraising priorities, sharpened our investment approach and portfolio support, and launched new AI-driven initiatives to increase efficiency across the firm. In our down time, we enjoyed the surf, sunshine, and many a late night (followed by tough early mornings!).

Semi-liquid evergreen funds are quickly moving into the mainstream, yet many investors are still far more familiar with the traditional 10-12 year closed-end model. Our latest article breaks down how evergreen structures work, how they compare across liquidity, control, complexity, and performance, and why avoiding forced exits can significantly enhance long-term returns.

As one of the pioneers in Europe, the redalpine Summit Fund offers a semi-liquid, open-ended approach spanning seed to pre-IPO, combining immediate deployment, multi-stage diversification, compounding of realized gains, and scheduled liquidity windows.

Read the full redalpine article for a concise, practical introduction to evergreen structures here.

Why it matters: SemiAnalysis breaks down one of the most dramatic pivots in the AI infrastructure race. After pausing datacenter construction and slowing commitments to OpenAI in 2024, Microsoft has reversed course and is now aggressively rebuilding capacity across self-build, leasing, and neocloud routes. The report shows how Microsoft ceded major ground to Oracle, CoreWeave, Google, and Amazon during the pause and how it is now moving to reassert itself across the entire AI token economics stack, from chips to applications. With OpenAI’s custom ASICs, multi-gigawatt clusters like Fairwater, and a renewed Azure-OpenAI alignment, Microsoft is positioning itself for accelerated AI demand in the coming quarters.
