telli: the AI voice platform for B2C revenue teams

the conversation gap
For the last 20 years, the way consumers interact with businesses has not changed much. Most communication still happens through calls, emails, SMS, forms, or WhatsApp messages. Companies have adapted to these channels, but behind the scenes most still run on the same stack of CRMs, call centers, tickets, queues, dashboards, and manual operational work, creating friction for both teams and customers.
That world is starting to change. Consumers are beginning to use AI agents to compare offers, get support, change contracts, reschedule deliveries, book appointments, and resolve issues. Some will still use the channels they know. Others will expect their personal AI assistants to talk to companies for them. For B2C companies, this shift creates a massive operating challenge: communicating wherever customers choose to communicate, while still running scalable operations and growing the business.
why redalpine led this round
Having met hundreds of founding teams, telli's is in a different category. Finn and Philipp built Enpal's sales machine and automated the exact workflow they used to run by hand. Sebastian ships to production 10 to 15 times a day with a five-person engineering team. The platform diagnosed its own failed call, proposed a fix, and nailed the second attempt, live, on real customer data, before anyone even asked for it. That is a working flywheel.
The vision goes well beyond outbound calling. Voice agents trigger internal automations the moment a call ends, and Charlie lets customers self-customize their product configuration in near real-time, removing the long onboarding cycles that have historically made enterprise software painful to adopt. And the direction of travel points further still: as AI agents become part of everyday life on the consumer side, telli is positioning itself for the world where agents talk to agents, and B2C companies need AI on their side of every conversation.
"We've followed this space for quite some time and the telli founders are the most technically exceptional and complementary team we've encountered. The value voice agents will unlock across enterprise automation is immense, and we strongly believe telli is in pole position to capture the opportunity," said Sebastian Becker, General Partner at redalpine.
redalpine is proud to lead telli's $15M seed round, bringing total funding to more than $18.5M, alongside strategic investors, Mutschler, and existing backers Cherry Ventures and Y Combinator.
what telli builds
telli helps B2C companies run customer-facing operations end-to-end with AI. Businesses can build and deploy AI agents across channels, manage conversations, review calls, improve performance, and automate the operational work behind sales, service, and support.
At the center of telli is Charlie, an AI coworker for the teams closest to the customer. Charlie helps them set up agents, connect systems, analyze conversations, spot issues, run experiments, and improve customer communication autonomously. As James Smith, Head of Customer Operations at Clark, puts it: "What's massively impressed us is the speed at which we can make changes. Having Charlie there, compared to all the other tools we've seen, lets us move at speed, and spinning up new use cases is super easy."
telli's agents already handle millions of conversations for companies ranging from SMBs to large enterprises, answering calls, qualifying leads, booking appointments, running follow-ups, and resolving customer requests for companies including Sky, Viessmann, Enpal, and Vaillant.
a founding team with firsthand operating experience
telli was founded in Berlin in 2024 by Finn zur Mühlen (CEO), Sebastian Hapte-Selassie (CTO), and Philipp Baumanns (COO), three founders whose backgrounds map directly onto what they are building. Finn and Philipp built and operated Enpal's heat pump sales organization to 150 FTE in its first year, managing the precise conversion workflows that telli now automates. Sebastian is the technical foundation of the company, running an engineering organization that ships to production 10 to 15 times a day on a five-person team.
what's next for telli
With this funding, telli will grow its engineering and go-to-market teams, further develop Charlie, and expand its voice and multichannel agent platform. The goal is to help B2C companies make the shift from software workflows to AI-run customer operations, wherever their customers choose to communicate, including via personal AI agents.
As Finn puts it: "Customer-facing operations are becoming too complex to run with the current tools alone. The next generation of consumer companies will need AI that can talk to customers, work across channels, and help teams improve the operation behind every interaction. That is what we are building with telli."
