Our process is really simple. First we assess attractiveness and plausibility of the business case. In the positive case, we evaluate in a team presentation the team itself, claims, opportunities and risks of the case. An investment requires unanimous consent among the partners.
The individual steps:
- Sourcing: We detect your start-up through pro-active sourcing efforts; or you found us to be a suitable potential investor
- Pre-screening: We check the documents against our criteria
- Evaluation: We get your pitch, visit you and analyse your deal proposal
- Negotiation: Together we work out a term sheet
- Due diligence: We re-check financials, legal, technology and team
- Closing: We sign investment agreement and wire the money
- Post: While we generally sit on the boards of the funded companies, most of our contribution comes between board meetings.
